Pros and cons of Flag Atlas app for iPhone and iPad
Flag Atlas app good for
There are some crazy flags!! So many times during the World Cup and the Olympics, Id see some random flag and wonder what country it was. Next year Ill be ready.
Good looking App for atlas of global flags with graphics optimized for the Retina Display. Nice touch with the Wikipedia integration.
A nice app for flag aficionados, or anyone curious about what types of crazy things people will use for flags.
Very easy to search on many fields. Great for playing trivia!
Quickly search by country name, flag colours, tags and features. Locate country on atlas, zoom in to see the super high-resolution features and even dig down into the countrys Wikipedia entry!
I notice this hasnt been updated in quite some time, but South Sudan is now there and may be useful. Loving the app otherwise.
Some bad moments
The ease of use if fantastic. Detailed images and Wiki entries.
I never need to fret about identifying flags again... Ugandas is the best. And search for Elizabeth. Man, she owns a lot of countries.
This is a very well done app allowing you to quickly look up the name and flag of any country and then seek out more information through a direct wikipedia link. For free this is a steal.
Wonderful app! Simple, easy to use. But, when are you planning on adding South Sudan?
If you click on a country like Puerto Rico on the map you get nothing. If someone didnt know that PR was a part of the US, then you would just keep trying to tap it. I wish that they would put in the US flag or write that it is a US territory. The same thing happens with all other country/territories too. Otherwise I find the app cool and useful.
